Emerald "Smaragd" Cedar Tree
The most common hedging tree on the market, Emerald cedar trees are used to block out a view, cover a fence, or just add green to the yard. Low maintenance, cedars can be planted year round. Typical growth rate is 12 inches a year.

Excelsa Thuja plicata
Excelsa cedars are fast growing bushy cedars that forms the perfect natural looking hedge. These are great where you have larger yards or acreage. Growth is 2-3 ft a year and they also grow in width. Should be planted typically in sunlight and approx. 3-4 feet apart depending on size. Often used in areas to prevent animals as they are turned off from the smell (although not noticeable for humans).

Taxus Yews
Taxus Yew trees create a very nice high end hedge. All Yews are poisonous to humans and are slow growing. Yews should be planted 28-33 inches apart as these tend to grow wider. Used by residential clients looking for a different type of hedge than the typical cedar hedge tree.
